Lợi ích của việc làm này là để cung cấp thông tin tối thiểu về các bài báo, giúp cho những thành viên khác mặc dù không yêu cầu bài báo đó vẫn có thể biết được là "oh, bài báo này có vẻ hay và gần với hướng nghiên cứu của minh, download về đọc xem thế nào". Và như vậy, những bài báo đó sẽ phục vụ được cho nhiều người chứ không chỉ riêng cho người yêu cầu.
