Can you have a sponsour in Robocon!?

Hello to you all,
I live in the Gulf coast and we are going to make a robocon team. Since we are students in the Engineering Universities. I have a question though

Is that possible to have a sponsour in Robocon !? Since there is a company which is going to be our sponsour, but we don't know if that is possible or not!?

Of course, you can ask for sponsors if you can. In Vietnam, some teams have sponsor from companies and be supported by their universities. It's because the students cannot have enough money for building the robots.

Nothing is imposible, maybe, U want to look for a Vietnamese company to support u? I think so difficult because not so many Vietnamese companies support for Robocon.
Can u say clear,which part U want to get sponsour,I mean the technique or the fee U have to pay if u go to Vietnam or so on...

You can write whatever you want on your robot, but when you come to Vietnam, your team and your robot represent your country, so be careful with what you write on your robot, millions of people are watching you on the play ground.

normally, the name(s) of the companies that sponsor your team would be displayed on the robot (for advertisement purpose). also, that's a way your team thanks them (the companies).
